Ubity is looking for a VoIP System Specialist!

We are currently looking for a VoIP System Specialist to join the technology team and ensure the evolution of the Voice and Unified Communications infrastructure at Ubity!

A typical day in this position at Ubity entails:

  • Conducting a technology watch to continuously improve the stability, reliability and scalability of our infrastructure
  • Administering the maintenance of the various components of our platform, developing new features and carrying out unit testing
  • Performing SIP interoperability tests, and conducting load and regression tests
  • Handling requests and issues escalated to Level 3, and being part of the 2nd line on-call team in rotation (approx. 1 week out of 4)

Our ideal candidate:

  • is methodical, rigorous and autonomous
  • is curious and has a strong analytical mind
  • is familiar with LAN/WAN and VoIP administration, SIP protocol and Asterisk environment
  • has some knowledge of OpenSIPs/Kamailio services, Open Source/Linux systems, GIT/API REST concepts, and MySQL/MongoDB storage services
  • has a degree in Information System Management, Informatics or a related field
  • has 2 years of experience and/or studies in LAN, WAN and VoIP
  • has 2 years of experience in development in Python 2 & 3 environment
